Position Details

CRM Manager
Southeast Wisconsin
Waukesha, WI

Novus is looking to hire an enthusiastic and driven CRM Manager to join our Marketing team. The CRM Manager will work closely with various departments in the business, inclusive of senior management and key stakeholders to develop and launch suitable digital marketing initiatives.

The ideal candidate will contribute to the overall success of the email marketing program by staying on top of email marketing channel best practices, trends, innovative ideas, strategies, and industry standards.

This person will also spearhead or oversee project intake, ongoing process improvements, strategic growth initiatives focused on customer lifecycle, engagement, and retention through automated email marketing and other marketing tactics and campaigns.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Guide CRM campaigns and introduce new capabilities for the purpose of meeting emerging business needs and market trends. 
  • Responsible for Surefire CRM company profile, settings, and users. 
  • Serves as the CRM lead and subject matter expert to the broader organization. 
  • Manage CRM campaigns from beginning to end; strategy, requirement gathering, creative approach and optimizations, building, monitoring, reporting, and analysis. 
  • Optimize email programs through continual testing of creative, cadence, content, targeting, etc. 
  • Evaluate branding and messaging to develop the most effective email campaigns 
  • Create deployments (single sends, recurring, workflows, and campaigns) through Surefire CRM and ensure deliverability 
  • Develop list segmentation and dynamic searches 
  • Align CRM strategy and roadmap to business objectives and the Novus mission 
  • Collaborate with the creative team to develop effective email campaigns through brand, design, and messaging. 
  • Develop and launch new marketing tools. 
  • Provide training and training materials for new and existing sales tools to promote utilization 
  • Design and test automated email flows focused on improving lead conversion. 
  • Generate marketing reporting and analysis for systems you manage. 
  • Build and update CRM process documentation, training guide, and best practices. 
  • Other duties as assigned 

Required Education and Experience:

  • B.A. in Marketing or related field 
  • Experience in email/CRM marketing or digital marketing (4+ years)
  • Experience with Surefire 
  • Experience with HTML 
  • Mortgage industry experience is a plus 
  • Strong analytical skills, data-driven, and well-versed in Excel 
  • Strong team player 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment 
  • Self-motivated and proactive 
  • Critical attention to detail 
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines while working on multiple projects 
  • Must possess creative-solving skills
