Epsilon Agency is seeking a Marketing Analyst to support its Data Design and Analytics team. Using various tools and statistical techniques, you will use marketing and sales data to help clients understand their marketing performance. Your analysis will act as a growth engine, helping our clients understand both which marketing investments to make, and whether those investments are successful.

The Data Design and Analytics team generates insights from a wide array of datasets, including Epsilon’s proprietary data assets, user generated content, Point of Sale data, media exposure data, and web/app analytics. You will work across multiple clients and industries, including CPG, ecommerce, retail, and banking. Our small team is fast-paced and hands-on in support of the broader organization. The ideal candidate has experience analyzing a broad array of marketing data, such as Point of Sale, web analytics, email, search, social, and display. Good communication skills, friendly and honest, and ability to juggle multiple competing priorities a must. This position will be located in Minneapolis and will report to Sr. Manager Analytics. Some travel may be required based on client needs.

The Senior Analyst will:

  • Assist team members with reporting and analysis support across multiple clients
  • Work with team members to develop process documentation and operationalize processes for use across additional clients and industry verticals
  • Develop and present results and analysis to clients on past marketing activations
  • Support current and potential clients by developing forecasts that quantify the business opportunity
  • Help explain complex marketing terminology and statistical concepts to non-technical audiences

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have deep interest in marketing, and intellectual curiosity about our clients, their goals, and how to improve program performance on their behalf
  • Have experience using marketing performance data to craft stories that spur action
  • Be comfortable and poised when presenting marketing results to clients and internal teams
  • Collaborate well with both internal and external counterparts and thrive in a fast-paced environment

Required Skills:

  • Undergraduate degree in business, statistics, or business analytics and 2+ years’ marketing analytics experience in a business setting. Master’s degree preferred. 
  • Demonstrated ability in analyzing a wide array of marketing data and generating actionable insights 
  • Demonstrated ability in interpreting and explaining statistical models, including time series, multiple linear regression, and machine learning techniques 
  • Demonstrated ability in R and/or Python 
  • Familiarity with Microsoft PowerPoint, and experience developing client-ready presentations 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience in Power Query and PowerBI preferred 
  • Detail-oriented, organized and able to work on multiple projects over the course of a day and accurately set expectations regarding timing and deliverables 
  • Effective communicator via both written and spoken word
  • Proactive self-starter who is able to work independently
