We are looking for a passionate, certified Data Analyst. The successful candidate will turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions. You will build and improve upon our data infrastructure to support MKR teams in the following areas:

  • Marketing Analytics, including measurement of campaign effectiveness (across paid, owned, earned media), attribution modeling, media mix modeling. 
  • eCommerce Analytics measuring and tracking the purchase journey from start to end, attribution modeling, experience and conversion optimization. 
  • Customer Analytics, including audience segmentation, journey map analysis, and CRM analysis.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Works closely with the Director of Insights and Analysts to develop an advanced data engine to drive the Insights department at MKR. 
  • Database development and implementation, data collection systems, data linking and integration. 
  • Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
  • Provide expert advice on the best analytical tools and software. Keep the team informed on the latest updates, changes and best practices in tracking, measurement, analysis and reporting methodologies. 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Technical 

  • Expert user of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Data Studio, BigQuery, etc.
  • Statistical principles - statistical modeling for analysis and forecasting, appropriate application of different models. Experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS, etc). 
  • Experience with reporting packages. Experience with Python, R or SQL 
  • Understanding of and experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, database management, data warehousing, architecture and extract, transform, load (ETL). 

Analysis & Insights

  • Solid understanding of multivariate testing, attribution modeling, media mix modeling, lift analysis, and customer segmentation. 
  • Command of testing, measurement, analysis and reporting across owned, paid and earned media, including ecommerce, across the customer journey. 
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. 
  • Identify, analyze and interpret trends in complex data sets. Provide insights that tell the “data story” and provide recommendations for strategic and tactical pivots. 
  • Assist in the development of dashboards and reports for ongoing and ad-hoc client needs.
  • Data visualization skills a strong plus.
  • 3+ years related experience
  • Bachelor of Science in mathematics, statistics or computer science 
  • Agency experience is a plus
