SECURA Insurance

SECURA Insurance has 118 years of experience, evolving from a small farm company to a super-regional insurance carrier offering insurance for businesses, homes and autos, non-profit organizations, and farms.

SECURA is a strong and stable company, rated “A” (Excellent) by A.M. Best, signifying excellent financial strength, and ranks nationwide in the top 10 in the Ease of Doing Business survey for insurance companies. We partner with only the best independent agents in 12 states – Arizona, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Dakota, and Wisconsin.

In 1900, SECURA was founded after a massive cyclone tore through New Richmond, Wis., destroying homes and businesses, killing more than 100 people, injuring 500 others, and inspiring 135 charter members in the Cicero Township to protect themselves and each other by developing The Farmers Home Mutual Hail, Tornado and Cyclone Insurance Company of Seymour, Wisconsin. The company became SECURA Insurance in 1986.
