Are you creator with a track record of concepting and delivering smart, world-class designs across a variety of digital platforms? CME Group is looking for a Design Manager who's inspired by new trends and emerging technologies. You're good at mentoring junior creatives, providing clear direction, leading by example, and fostering an inclusive studio culture.

What you'll do:

  • Work alongside the Creative Director to concept and oversee the production of bold, innovative, award-winning campaigns and digital experiences 
  • Collaborate with copywriters, project managers, designers and development teams to translate ideas to compelling designs 
  • Inspire creative teams to execute integrated, cross-channel projects that are creatively brilliant, strategically on point, and seamlessly executed, on time and on budget 
  • Manage the creative process: You'll have many balls in the air at once, and you'll keep things flowing smoothly, reviewing and finessing every piece of creative work the team produces. 
  • Effectively pitch creative work to oftentimes non-creative stakeholders. You'll be the greatest advocate for our work, but you'll also listen and internalize feedback so that we can come back with designs that exceed expectations.

What you’ll have:

  • A strong portfolio of 5+ years of in-house or agency experience working on integrated, multi-channel campaigns 
  • Ability to concept and develop outstanding creative with the design team, then sell it to stakeholders, and refine it at every step along the way 
  • An endless curiosity that keeps you ahead of the trends, technologies, and tools that will help you-and the organization-deliver the best digital experiences 
  • Advanced skill at creating user stories and journeys, design concepts and prototypes optimized for devices and contexts 
  • Fluency across the Adobe Creative Suite with proven expertise in digital, traditional, and emerging delivery models 
  • A solid working knowledge of Sketch/Figma/Adobe XD 
  • Excellent client relationship-building skills 
  • Solid understanding of the capabilities and limitations of various digital channels
