Marcus Hotels & Resorts is currently seeking a Design Manager to join our talented Milwaukee team! This role will support the Milwaukee Area Director of Marketing in generating innovative marketing strategies and campaigns, primarily focusingon developing creative assets for print, digital, and video marketing efforts.

What you’ll be doing: 

  • Oversee the end-to-end design process, from concept development to final execution, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. 
  • Develop creative strategies and concepts that align with hotel brand identity and marketing objectives. 
  • Collaborate with marketing and other department teams to translate project requirements into compelling visual designs. 
  • Review and approve design deliverables to ensure they meet quality and brand guidelines. 
  • Co-manage, with the marketing team, the development and execution of comprehensive marketing plans and programs, both short and long-range, to support the sales & revenue objectives of each organization. 
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and resources to meet deadlines and quality standards. 
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices and integrate new techniques and technologies into our design process. 
  • Cultivate a collaborative and positive work environment that encourages creativity, teamwork, and excellence. 
  • Oversee digital asset management system and process. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What you’ll bring:

  • 3+ years’ experience in the marketing field is required.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of creative projects across various mediums.
  • Bachelor’s Degree highly desired, preferably graphics design or related.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) and other relevant design software.
  • Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques.
  • A passion and eye for photography and videography, video and animation design skills preferred.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality design solutions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Able to work independently with little supervision.
  • Highly organized.
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically.
  • Professional demeanor.
  • Experience working in hospitality is a plus.
