Design Specialist

As a Design Specialist, you will help develop the layout and production design for ads, flyers, online graphics, newsletters, and corporate reports based on client requirements and established branding. These visual concepts communicate ideas that inspire, inform, or captivate. Work as a member of a print and online production team to support the translation of marketing and communications objectives into creative strategies and coordinate the appropriate use of the LSS brand and identity.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

• BA/BS/BFA or equivalent combination of education and experience in graphic design related discipline. 
• 1-2 years of experience demonstrating increasing responsibility will be looked upon favorably. 
• Must be able to present portfolio of work (hard copy or online portfolio acceptable). 
• Proficiency and demonstrable experience with the full Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.) as well as the Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint). 
• Proficiency in a variety of content management systems (CMS) not required but will be looked upon favorably. 
• Primary workstation will be a Mac laptop at a dedicated workstation. 
• This position requires creativity, interpersonal communications skills, competency in basic grammar, punctuation and proof-reading skills, analytical thinking, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 
• Individual must have a passion for keeping current on graphic design developments, new technologies and market trends. 
• Experience with print and online design, layout, usability standards, video and photo editing preferred.

Salary: $50,816.5 USD per year.
