Manifesto Agency

To make our finite lives and work count—and both be better for it. This is our purpose. Our rally cry.

Over 12 years ago, we left the big agency scene to chart our own waters. Today we're a courage led brand agency. And we rally humans around the heart and soul of the world's most ambitious brands.

And yes, we do all the things that other creative agencies do—drink out of mason jars, adorn our walls with faux stag heads, and occasionally communicate via typewriters and sketch books just to spice things up. All in all, we’re a scrappy team of crafters and creators who are ethos-led and focused on delivering work that gives our clients meaning and lets us live out our individual giftedness.

Passionate designer? Fearless brand architect? Covet your kerning?

We are adding a designer to our team who's ready to contribute to our cuulture and clients. You'll work on a wide range of clients — from the biggest and most established brands in the world to nimble brands that make our life’s work incredibly rewarding, you’ll oversee and architect the creative product that has given us a reputation for launching and relaunching brands.

Get ready to roll up your sleeves and get dirty. As Designer you’ll collaborate with our creative team to concept big ideas and develop them into powerful visual narratives, considering not just how the story is told through words, but images and rich design language. This role will be primarily focused on concepting and executing brand initiatives ranging from rebranding to social/digital campaigns, employer brand initiatives, and supporting communication campaigns.

Here's what we're looking for in our next Designer:

  1. Incredible design tactician with brand identity and smart conceptually-led integrated campaign work.
  2. Agency experience working as part of a team and or independently leading projects.
  3. Stellar organizational skills to keep your work on-time, and within budget.
  4. Ability to concept across traditional and nontraditional channels (digital, social, experiential, earned media, etc.)
  5. Stunning portfolio that shows how you get from concept to reality and can articulate it in written and visual form.
  6.  Solid presentation skills: you’ll need to be able to present your work to both internal teams and clients as well.
  7. Hunger for what’s next and new: in culture yes, but also new and emerging art & design mediums.
  8. Ability to get it done: as a nimble team, we’re all doers. We work on short deadlines and limitedinformation; must be a self starter.
  9. Openness to new tools (AI-assist, Canva, etc.) when needed

Value Aligned:

  • Resourceful: You’re willing to look at challenges with a radically different approach. Find new ways to look at, evaluate and solve problems.
  • Servant Hearted: Be willing to pitch in. Wash the dishes. Take out the trash. Bring in a bag of coffee and tell us a story. These are some of the things we all share in doing around the shop. The best way to lead is to serve.
  • Nice: Seriously. We’re not kidding. You have to be nice.
  • Bachelor's Degree (BA) in, Art, Design, Advertising, or relevant field.
  • 3-5 years of agency experience as a designer, working on projects from concept to completion.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, (Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign, XD a must. Premier, Animate, After effects a plus).
  • Experience in Google Suite (Google slides, docs, etc.) We are a Google shop :)
  • And yes...a working ability in PowerPoint (cause' some clients want a PPT template), MS Word Suite on occasion and Google Docs. Our primary presentation format to clients is in Google Slides.
  • Experience working in and around video and web is a huge plus.
  • Salary + annual profit sharing bonus potential
  • Health insurance
  • 401K
  • Generous PTO and vacation policies
  • Half-day summer Fridays (June-August)
