Position Details

Palatine, IL

The Pepper Group, Inc. located in Palatine, IL is looking to expand its staff and hire a Designer.

Job duties include:

  • As a team member, create interactive design concepts for a variety of mediums for website and digital designs, etc.;
  • Gain an understanding of client’s business and industry through client meetings and Creative Director; 
  • Review and interpret creative briefs and project requests; 
  • Design mood boards, video storyboards, interactive ad layouts, mock-ups, and animated GIFs; 
  • Ensure that all graphics adhere to client brand guidelines; 
  • Manipulate and retouch commercial imagery; 
  • Provide quality assurance on creative deliverables including email marketing, online advertising, social media initiatives, brochures, posters, booklets, branding materials, environmental graphics, etc.; 
  • Collaborate with account managers, fellow designers, copywriter, partnering printer, etc.; 
  • Maintain and follow through on assigned projects from initial design to final print/launch and meeting all production target dates; 
  • Create and finalize technically accurate art files for print production and web development; and 
  • Lead design presentations to clients and participate in project meetings.
  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communication design or related field, or foreign equivalent and One (1) year of experience as a Graphic Designer. 
  • One (1) year of experience using Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effect, and Dreamweaver also required.
