This role will be responsible for optimizing fundraising revenue through support of fundraising events and activities and third-party fundraising programs. Working together with volunteer board members, this role will support a portfolio of chapter fundraising events and will provide marketing, communications and logistics support to maximize event performance. This role will also help execute the organization's national signature event, directing all marketing and communications efforts, and serving as lead staff during the event.

Support a portfolio of chapter events and serve as lead point of contact for chapter volunteers for all event support – creating marketing, invitation and communications materials, event website, registration tracking, payment of expenses, securing insurance and licenses and other logistics as needed.

  • Implement community giving days in conjunction with chapters; including registration, providing local goals, stats and information, and providing visibility to giving opportunities. 
  • Manage annual chapter online auction to meet revenue growth goals– including working with chapters to advise on the solicitation of items, loading packages onto auction platform, creating marketing and promotion strategy, fulfilling packages and managing winner communications. 
  • Create strategy for additional revenue through third-party events and activities, capitalizing on opportunities for beneficiary revenue at schools, churches, community and other organizations.
  • Support the successful execution of signature event. Key lead for guest experience during the event, and for all marketing and communications efforts including invitations, sponsorship solicitation materials and website.
  • Excellent project management skills and the ability to successfully manage multiple projects and timelines concurrently. 
  • Graphic design capabilities to create stand-out event invitations, flyers, posters and other event materials and organizational collateral 
  • Broad knowledge of the principles of event fundraising and creating memorable and effective events.
  • Excellent volunteer and customer service predisposition; anticipates needs and meets these consistently 
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), Constant Contact, Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), Google Docs, Google Sheets 
  • Ability to travel as needed. 
  • 10 or more years of related experience with proven results; non-profit event or project management, communications, marketing and graphic design experience.
