This position offers an exciting opportunity in the Development Department to master your experience in donor-centered direct-mail campaigns, gift processing, and system administration while working with state of the art fundraising software (Blackbaud’s Raiser’s Edge). The Development Associate engages in prospect research to develop new relationships for the agency.

In partnership with the Director of Advancement, Catholic Charities team members, and agency consultants, you will impact fundraising capabilities and strategic design. Areas of responsibility include end-to-end campaign/gift processing and acknowledgement, reporting, database maintenance, security and integrity, and prospect research.

This position is ideal for someone who is self-driven and passionate about delivering a “best in class” donor experience through mastery of the donor database system, acknowledgement process, and donor prospecting and cultivation. This individual be an integral team member working directly to advance the mission of Catholic Charities.

College degree preferred. Five years’ experience in database management or data entry with considerable computer work. Gift processing and bookkeeping experience is preferred.

Strong attention to detail. Experience with and understanding of relational database structures, with preference given to constituent relationship management systems that support fundraising operations. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel in particular. Occasional attendance at evening or weekend events is required.

Annualize Salary ranges from $40,000 to $50,000 DOE
