Gigawatt’s consultative approach plus expertise in emerging media has allowed us to cultivate strong regional and national client relationships across a variety of categories including outdoor hospitality, media, retail, higher education and more. We are seeking a Digital Account Strategist to help protect and grow our client’s digital investments through consultative services and top-tier programmatic solutions.

Our ideal candidate demonstrates exemplary customer service and communication skills, to keep clients informed of media opportunities and performance toward their marketing goals. They must also possess a detail-oriented mindset to best manage sophisticated proposals in conjunction with our media team. Finally, they must be comfortable working with a small, diverse team in the Milwaukee area who believe collaboration the key to driving outcomes in a positive and rewarding work environment.

  • Create media proposals and make strategic recommendations that align with a client’s goals, targeting strategies, and other advertising considerations 
  • Guide clients on any needs pertaining to efficient and timely campaign execution e.g. creatives, audience and geotargeting lists, reporting deliverables, etc. 
  • Work closely the Media Team to ensure campaign setup and progress is aligned with clients IO and goals, reviewing key details such as targeting, budgets, creative, etc. 
  • Keep clients regularly informed on campaign status and performance with consistent reporting updates, insights summaries and quarterly/annual business reviews 
  • Focus on client retention and growth utilizing our suite of media products and innovations to offer relevant solutions and deepen relationships 
  • Work with the leadership team to analyze campaign data and media trends to produce clear, compelling insights for clients and Gigawatt’s thought leadership initiatives 
  • Engage in training andprofessional development opportunities with the Gigawatt team
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 1+ years of experience in a digital environment; students or recent grads with intern or work-study experience also welcome
  • Full time availability 
  • Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and create positive customer experiences 
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a sales context: questioning & listening, objection handling, competitive selling, leveraging data, etc. 
  • Solid understanding of digital media strategy & proposal development 
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational and process management skills 
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills 
  • Able to prioritize tasks and manage toward deadlines, especially pertaining to client needs and expectations 
  • Able to apply creative thinking to solve problems plus be proactive be about communication with managers when further assistance is needed 
  • High technical aptitude with proficiency in Excel; strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite programs preferred 
  • Foundational knowledge of digital media channels, research tools, and/or reporting dashboards a plus (e.g. Google/FB Ads, DSP/DMP platforms, Comscore, etc.) 
  • Willingness to learn and passionate about the digital media and advertising industry
