Summary: Strategically work with internal teams to create and execute marketing campaigns for both digital and traditional media channels that drive engagement for the Foundation’s educational programs and services. Execute the organization’s online digital strategies and serve as the subject matter expert for Eloqua, the organization’s marketing automation platform to maintain best practices, create advanced workflows, campaign segmentation and analysis.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the tactical marketing execution of assigned programs and services by planning and managing promotional campaigns. This encompasses the entire marketing campaign lifecycle, including campaign development, project coordination, copywriting, email marketing, media planning, behavioral-based marketing management, website management, social media activities, and overseeing graphic design and the creative process. 
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) and lead power user of the Eloqua marketing automation platform, acting as the primary liaison with IT to maintain and enhance system integrations with CRM while adapting to new functionality based on platform developments. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement a fully integrated multi-channel marketing strategy, with a specific focus on targeted email campaign development, workflow generation, lead nurturing, and drip campaigns, to enhance brand awareness, boost lead generation, and optimize revenue growth to improve customer engagement and retention. 
  • Stay current with email and digital marketing tracking strategies, compliance, and best practices, including, but not limited to, CAN-SPAM, CCPA, GDPR, and CASL laws. 
  • Implement and manage multiple paid search and retargeting campaigns for lead development and new customer acquisition. Optimize keywords, bid strategy, and implement best practices in design while improving conversion rates, return on investment and providing other performance tracking reports. 
  • Negotiate media buys, ad placements and oversee the digital marketing spending and budget allocation while working with cross functional teams to refine or identify new advertising outlets. 
  • Track and analyze ROI and KPIs of marketing programs and campaigns and make recommendations for improvement while using both on-line and off-line data to identify trends and provide actionable recommendations for marketing campaign improvements and workflow developments.

Supervisory Responsibilities: No formal supervisory responsibilities ; however, incumbent may be required to train/mentor more junior staff members.

Required Education/ Experience:

  • This position requires a four-year degree in Marketing or a related field with at least three years of successful email marketing management and online/digital marketing campaign development experience. 
  • Strong proficiency with email platforms such as Eloqua, HubSpot, Marketo, and/or Pardot along with Google Analytics (GA4), SEO Moz, and Google’s Search Console knowledge is a plus. 
  • Experienced with digital marketing strategies and concepts to include SEO, PPC, display ads, and retargeting. 
  • Must understand integrated database programs such as Microsoft Dynamics (CRM) and/or Salesforce. Knowledge of data analytical tools is a plus.

Minimum Qualifications/Skills: 

Self-motivated and able to multi-task while working in a diverse business environment. Be a team player, an excellent communicator (both oral and written), and possess strong organization and team leadership skills. Advanced computer literacy with a strong background in Excel and database marketing is required along with solid understanding of dependencies across complex systems.


Travel Requirements:

This position may intermittently require that the individual travel for work; but only up to 10% of the time.

Hybrid Work Environment:

This position is expected to work from our corporate headquarters office in Brookfield, WI. This is an environment with typical office conditions, including lighting, noise, seating and equipment.

New hires are expected to be fully onsite during the training period. Then, once fully trained, the Foundation operates on a 60/40 Hybrid schedule; with 60% being onsite at our headquarters in Brookfield (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays); and up-to 40% being optionally remote (Mondays and Fridays) and as business needs allow.


COMPENSATION, PERKS & BENEFITS:

The compensation range for this role starts at $55,000.
