As a full-time Digital Art Director at Core Creative, you have an opportunity to be part of our fast-paced, dynamic and growing agency. You’ll be generating and executing ideas alongside the creative team, client engagement, PR, digital and project management. From branding campaigns to one-off pieces, you’ll touch nearly every kind of project for nearly every kind of medium. Specifically, the Digital Art Director is responsible for concepting and creating a wide variety of design projects in a collaborative, creative environment. As an art director, you must be able to possess the ability to formulate, design and communicate a strategic message and position.

Responsibilities:

  • Concepting big ideas that are built to effect change for the client’s business needs
  • Creating and producing a wide variety of design projects, including websites, mobile apps, digital and traditional advertising, email design, and more
  • Working both independently and in collaboration with a team of writers, directors, designers, programmers, producers and strategists
  • Sharing your insights in constructive ways by participating in brainstorming sessions, structured group critiques, and client interaction
  • Working with a Creative Director to help prepare work for presentation to the client
  • Presenting final creative to clients for approval; being able to walk a client through your work highlighting the thinking and strategy behind your solution

Education and experience:

  • Must have a minimum of 3-5 years of creative experience in the field – agency experience preferred.
  • A working knowledge of HTML/CSS; familiarity with content management systems like WordPress
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (primarily Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign; familiarity with After Effects and XD a plus)
