Covetrus is seeking a talented Digital Brand Manager to join our rapidly growing and fast-paced Global Technology Solutions division to help us execute our brand vision and messaging. In this role, you will be involved in many facets of brand management, strategy and execution. As an integral member of theBrand team, you will work closely with the team to execute brand strategy for Covetrus. The Digital Brand Manager helps a company drive growth in its brands and product lines by converting traditional physical brand management processes to digital-first ones in the realm of social media, Internet based marketing and podcasts.Internally, the Digital Brand Manager will maintain significant contact with internal marketing,finance, regulatory, and logistics departments. The right candidate should be comfortable working within brand guidelines and ensuring that brand standards are met across platforms.

The ideal candidate is collaborative, experienced working with internal, B2B, B2C and all external audiences. You have some experience working on a brand and are motivated to learn and grow. You can think with both sides of your brain — you are comfortable with analysis but also can understand people. In this role you will need to seamlessly transition between supporting high-level strategy and hands-on managing commercial execution and consumer engagement. The right candidate must be a quick-thinker, direct communicator, informed risk-taker and practical problem-solver. We need someone who is driven; who is analytical and capable of distilling core insights from disparate data sources to rapidly identify key business drivers, recommend solutions and quickly assemble and motivate cross-functional teams to action.


  • Support a branding strategy that builds brand equity and awareness based on a consistent and resonant message to the market 
  • Help to drive a digital-first content strategy and calendar that targets and nurtures opportunitiesvia multiple channels, including website, social media and podcasts 
  • Manage the company’s digital presence, brands' websites and social media pages to make sure information is accurate, up-to-date and consistent with desired messaging/image 
  • Manage social media and content marketing strategy for campaigns, edit and curate content, generate new ideas and review performance 
  • Execute digital projects (ex. social posts, landing pages, internal emails) 
  • Manage the amplification of our brand and thought leadership by assisting in ideation, scripting, production and promotion of Covetrus-branded podcasts 
  • Support agency and vendor relationships that enable Covetrus brand priorities 
  • Analyze and report on brand performance to determine ROI 
  • Monitor veterinary market and consumer trends 
  • Build relationships across the organization to supply them with key player and brand insights 
  • Support Content Marketing Manager and Director, Brand in scaling digital brand strategy and execution internally and externally


  • 3-5 years progressive brand or major brand experience, with the ability to measure, interpret and summarize analytics 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong presentation skills and demonstrated ability to write for digital 
  • Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, multi-faceted business environment 
  • Strong strategic and decision-making skills 
  • Ability to take initiative, develop and seek out creative and innovative ideas 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively interface at all levels within the organization and outside the company 
  • Ability to thrive in and effectively manage ambiguity 
  • Ability to influence decisions and be a brand champion 
  • Google Analytics knowledge and experience is a plus


  • College degree in related field or equivalent experience required
  • Some agency side experience


  • Operates effectively as an individual and as part of a team to meet established deadlines 
  • Digitally savvy approach to brand leadership from new item ideation and e-commerce and digital shelf requirements through to brand investment and consumer experiences 
  • Analytically minded and able to translate data into insights into activation with advanced syndicated data experience 
  • Consumer-focused thinking and ability to develop connected, congruent experiences to build brand love and deliver against financial objectives 
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally
