The Digital Communications Specialist is responsible for executing initiatives for the Unitedhealthcare Digital Communications team. You’ll work across the organization and our lines of business to manage the execution of our Digital Communications initiatives and support the External Communications team with projects that protect and advance our brand reputation. You’re a communicator with an analytical mindset and a flair for problem solving.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Under the direction of the communications leadership team, execute digital communications initiatives for UnitedHealthcare 
  • Produce and analyze metrics on the performance of Digital Communications initiatives and campaigns 
  • Assist with social listening/monitoring model across UnitedHealthcare and its lines of business, and flag issues as appropriate for triaging 
  • With Digital Analytics and Insights team, advance our approach to performance delivery in areas like the use of dashboards and automation 
  • Build effective relationships and positive communication with business leaders to deliver informed learnings and data - driven recommendations

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Communications, Marketing, Business, Data Science or the equivalent 
  • 2+ years of social media, analytics, communications and/or digital marketing experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with social / digital analytics tools (i.e. Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, etc.) 
  • Familiarity with social listening and monitoring tools (i.e. Brandwatch, Sprinklr, etc.) 
  • 2+ years of experience in a matrix organization or in working with matrix organizations 
  • 2+ years of experience building relationships with internal stakeholders 
  • Ability to travel 5% throughout the year
