If so, we’re looking for an up-and-coming communicator to join our team as Digital Communications Coordinator in our Minneapolis, MNoffice.

The Digital Communications Coordinator is on the front lines for getting our message out to our key audiences across the United States and Canada. The Digital Communications Coordinator is responsible for executing Toole Design’s content strategy, developing and deploying content across our digital channels that promotes our values, capabilities, and culture to clients, potential clients, stakeholders, and both current and potential employees. The Digital Communications Coordinator will also work in partnership with our clients to provide expertise and direction to project work. The Digital Communications Coordinator reports to the Communications Manager and works closely with our Marketing team and technical staff.

  • Content is your game, and writing, developing, creating, designing, and deploying it comes naturally. 
  • You know how to use a CRM, CMS, and SMMS to start effective conversations. 
  • You have experience working in multiple platforms to develop websites (e.g. WordPress and Squarespace) and communication campaigns including but not limited to Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram 
  • You can collaborate with your teammates across professional disciplines to create content that has an impact across our channels. 
  • You’re interested in planning, design and engineering as they relate to community-building, and ready to collaborate with our technical staff on strategic communications for projects.


  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Business Administration, English or a related field. 
  • A minimum of two years professional experience (including internships) is preferred. 
  • A demonstrated interest in multimodal and active transportation issues is preferred.
