The Public Health Law Center, a dynamic, public interest affiliate of Mitchell Hamline School of Law in Saint Paul, Minnesota, has immediate openings for a full-time Digital Communications Specialist who has a passion for working for the social good and who shares our commitment to continued learning on issues related to racial and social justice, including the social determinants of health, implicit bias, and systemic oppression. The Center, one of America’s preeminent centers of expertise in public health law and policy, uses the law to improve health by developing cutting-edge policies, providing guidance on public health legal issues and helping defend effective laws against legal challenges. Working with partners nationwide, the Center helps create communities where everyone can be healthy and empowers its partners to transform their environments by promoting healthy food, eliminating commercial tobacco, and encouraging active lifestyles. The Digital Communications Specialist supports the communication functions of the Public Health Law Center by managing and improving the Center web site and creating and integrating new digital content. The Digital Communications Specialist will work with a variety of colleagues to promote the Center’s mission-driven public health work.
