POSITION SUMMARY:
The Digital Content Coordinator develops and maintains production calendars for digital content initiatives, including the Neurology® Podcast, Brain & Life Podcast, Neurology Minute, and Neurology Video Journal Club. This position maintains collaborative relationships with editors and internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely posting of approved content under tight deadlines. Manages review, approval, and launch of digital team projects, adhering to production schedules.
ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Digital Content
- Partners with Neurology Podcast Editors to assess topics, schedule interviews, and coordinate audio editing and IDEAS review; ensures clarity of final product
- Coordinates Neurology Video Journal Club initiative, inviting participants, scheduling and recording discussions, and obtaining images, bios, and disclosures
- Coordinates Practice Current and Practice Buzz programs, managing review, approval, and posting surveys; creates interactive maps of survey results using Power BI
- Partners with Brain & Life Podcasts editors to schedule audio interviews, records interviews and editorial content, writes and proofreads materials relating to audio content for internal and public audiences, monitors and requests updates to audio website
- Sources stock photos to enhance clinician-based content
- Collaborates with journal staff and editors in setting, strategizing, and implementing new content types
Project Management
- Develops and manages detailed project schedules and work plans
- Manages review, approval, and launch of digital team projects
- Tests newly developed features for multiple Journal web sites and online peer review system
- Provides staff education regarding new systems and features
Assists Neurology Digital Team
- Assists with editing journal figures to ensure consistency in style
- Assists with Neurology social media posting and monitoring
