LSSI is seeking a talented Digital Content Coordinator for a part-time position (24 hours/week) within LSSI’s Behavioral Health Services’ Program Development Team. Working with internal key stakeholders, this position will help develop and execute content/digital marketing strategies to advance both the stories of LSSI’s Behavioral Health community and engaging audiences in supporting our programs and events across multiple platforms.

This position reports to the Associate Executive Director of Program Development and will be based out of LSSI’s Des Plaines office.

This is a hybrid position and may require some in-office hours. Most of the work will be remote.

Essential Functions:

  • Work with the Program Development Team to develop and execute a multichannel marketing strategy, building a content marketing ecosystem that grows brand awareness, amplifying our mission and the stories of LSSI’s Behavioral Health Services to new and existing audiences. 
  • Create new content, ranging from blog posts to social media, email campaigns, Google ads, and webinars. 
  • Help develop and manage a functional content calendar for each channel, segmented by audience. 
  • Ensure project timelines are met and that the end results showcase our brand. 
  • Ensure that all content and design is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice, and optimized for search and user experience for all channels of content. 
  • Help develop an SEO strategy, identifying keywords and executing search optimization strategies to improve our organic reach and grow engagement. 
  • Build and send out email campaigns to support engagement efforts, identifying opportunities to engage new and existing audiences. 
  • Collaborate with thought leaders, including program staff, to identify and produce cross-channel storytelling that advances our organizational mission and engages our communities. 
  • Track and measure marketing analytics to identify trends and guide marketing decisions. 
  • Measure campaign outcomes and maintain dashboards to help evolve organizational and marketing strategies.
  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Marketing Communications, Digital Marketing 
  • 2-3 years of digital/social media marketing and content creation experience 
  • Excellent writing/copywriting skills, be able to create and implement a cross-channel strategy 
  • Graphic design skills, preferred but not necessary 
  • Excellent communication, organization, presentation and pc/computer skills (including proficiency with Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) along with other related software (HootSuite, Google Ads/Analytics, Canva, ect.) 
  • Passionate about Mental Health or Addiction/Substance use issues
