Overview:

The Pabst Theater Group (PTG Live Events LLC) in Milwaukee Wisconsin is seeking an organized, self-motivated, team player who has a passion for social media. This person will collaborate with the marketing team to come up with new content ideas / concepts, and also stay abreast of new developments in social media. This position supports the development and execution of content on our blog and social media channels which include Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn. This position will help to ensure that the voice of our brand is consistent throughout all social media platforms and our blog. This is a full-time position based in Milwaukee, WI.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Team player who can prioritize and juggle multiple tasks, work in a fast-paced environmentand collaborate with multiple departments 
  • Research what other brands are doing in the digital content space and provide recommendations 
  • Create editorial content for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Blog 
  • Set up & execute social promotions for followers 
  • Set up & track promotional campaigns with digital influencers 
  • Create Facebook Events & photo albums for each show 
  • Help coordinate and communicate social calendar needs to meet deadlines 
  • Test, learn and optimize content 
  • Track quarterly, semi annual, and annual growth of all social media pages and The Green Room blog 
  • Keep up-to-date on relevant industry topics including new tools & analytics for all social media platforms 
  • Handle community management on all social media platforms 
  • Create all graphics and videos for social media and blog 

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in digital or content marketing, multi-media marketing, and/or advertising 
  • Understanding of social media measurement, publishing platforms and content management systems 
  • Experience with social media scheduling and listening tools 
  • Ability to write marketing copy that is SEO-friendly 
  • Working knowledge of Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, & Adobe Acrobat
