Digital Content Marketing Intern - Summer 2021

Alto-Shaam is seeking an up-and-coming marketing professional to accelerate our growth through innovative digital marketing tactics. This role will support content development, social outreach, SEO and digital analytics that drive demand creation. The content marketing intern will work within the marketing team to complete special projects and further Alto-Shaam’s strategic marketing goals and programs.

ASSIST WITH THE FOLLOWING DUTIES:

1. Global content marketing strategy support for the demand creation process, including: inbound email marketing campaigns, personas, landing page optimizations, lead nurturing and social media tactics.
2. Write content for email campaigns, blogs, PR, social media, newsletters and the website.
3. Create and update content on the website and in other digital marketing materials with a high degree of accuracy.
4. Curate and organize user-generated content and other social assets, with occasional community management, performance tracking and more.
5. Support the measurement of campaign effectiveness by tracking marketing metrics across digital channels.
6. Ensure consistent alignment with company brand standards and trademark compliance.
7. Other duties as required.

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in communications, journalism, marketing, advertising or related field.
• Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills with a strong attention to detail. Experience applying Associated Press Style to writing and distributing press releases, newsletters and blogs a plus.
• Time Management - Self-driven individual with the ability to prioritize, multi-task and maintain attention to detail. 
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player. 
• Proficient understanding of Microsoft Office.
• Proficient understanding of social media uses and applications (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.). 
• Experience working with CMS platforms and marketing email automation software a plus.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suites, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign or PageMaker a plus.

Interns complete special projects for their department and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
