SUMMARY:

The Digital Content Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing and executing SECURA’s digital marketing efforts to leverage the independent agency channel, attract and retain insurance consumers, and support internal and external communications.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns and strategic communication plans for websites, social media, emails, video, and more.
  • Produce timely and relevant content that increases visibility in alignment with business goals, appeals to target audiences, and incorporates best practices for digital and traditional marketing. 
  • Manage media and public relations efforts including advertising, trade sponsorships, and community investments and engagement. 
  • Ensure brand consistency and writing standards are integrated through all marketing materials. 
  • Measure, analyze, and optimize solutions to build audience, engagement, SEO, relationships, and retention.
  • Ensure consistent user experience across all platforms. 
  • Assist in competitive analysis, content planning, and change management. 
  • Assist in the continuous improvement of the Marketing team’s workflow processes. 
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years digital marketing experience 
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field 
  • Proven ability to develop, lead, and deliver strategic communication plans and successful outcomes 
  • Experience in project management, collateral creation, media relations, internal and external communications, and digital marketing such as web content, email campaigns, direct marketing, and advertising 
  • Experienced writer and editor for multiple channels and formats
  • Exceptional communication skills 
  • Creative, results oriented, and highly organized 
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment and individually 
  • Ability to create effective working relationships with all levels of the company
