Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren s.c., a leading, nationally ranked business law firm with eleven offices and over 200 attorneys is seeking a Digital Content Specialist to work in its Milwaukee headquarters. The Digital Content Specialist is a key member of the Marketing Team and plays a pivotal role in the development, creation and distribution of compelling content that increases awareness and brand visibility, drives demand generation and enhances audience engagement while conveying the “voice of the firm.”

Digital technology, from digital content to e-marketing to data-driven decision making, plays a critical role in our firm’s success, and the Digital Content Specialist is responsible for helping formulate strategy while overseeing our marketing technology stack, including the selection of tools and technologies, implementation and integration, and championing the adoption of best practices for our digital marketing initiatives, along with the technical execution of firm webinars. As such, they will be responsible for our marketing automation platform (HubSpot), CRM (Dynamics), our webinar platforms (Webex, GoToWebinar), and our website CMS (WordPress) with reliance upon a combination of tools and technologies to identify trends, uncover insights, and refine strategies (Yoast SEO, SiteImprove, Google Analytics, etc.).

The ideal candidate is experienced with a strong technical affinity, creative design skills, and a proven ability to write persuasively across multiple media - digital, social, mobile, print. They must also be able to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as interface with departments and individuals throughout the firm.

Required Qualities & Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate is a technologically savvy individual who possess a deep understanding of data and analytics coupled with the creative mindset to transition raw data into actionable insights and compelling content-driven marketing campaigns.

You will be successful if:

  • You're multi-disciplinary: You will function as a bridge between IT and marketing departments to facilitate the collaboration 
  • You're exceptionally organized: You can manage projects from inception to completion while overseeing the day-to-day management of the website, e-marketing, and other key priorities, including the creation of digital content (e.g. website, press releases, video, and podcasts) 
  • You’re a strategy guru: You can identify and define the ways in which marketing technology can enable the Marketing team to deliver engaging, personalized, and targeted messages that are aligned with business goals, drive brand awareness, and increase revenue. As such, you are responsible for: 
  1. Helping design digital media campaigns aligned with firm objectives 
  2. Suggesting and implementing digital marketing methods to increase firm profile 
  3. Collecting and interpreting marketing analytics to refine future efforts: conducting appropriate testing (A/B, etc.), ensuring tracking codes are properly placed and functioning, and other back-end technical analysis
  • You're innovative: You will manage the firm's marketing technology - guiding the selection of tools and software to attract and convert leads 
  • You’re a change-maker: You drive a culture of data-driven decision making by providing actionable, business-based insights sourced from analytics and real-time user behavior (web site, CRM, email, etc.) to continually encourage the refinement of marketing efforts
  • You're a content expert: You will oversee brand consistency, best practices, and ensure content is optimized and in accordance to Google's constantly changing algorithm 
  • You're process-driven and efficient: You are able to identify areas of friction to establish and implement processes and systems to improve workflow 
  • You're a knowledge sponge: You are thirsty for knowledge and continuously seek out opportunities to expand your knowledge to remain current on marketing technologies and strategies 

Required Skill and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in marketing, communications, journalism, English, IT or related field 
  • 3-5 years proven experiencein a professional setting 
  • 2 years minimum experience working with SEO content, online business writing, social media and content management in a business context, preferably in a professional services environment 
  • Ability to manage the content creation and optimization process end-to-end from initial concept to strategy to research, approvals, key wording, editing and final proofing 
  • Experience managing the systems that make up the marketing technology stack, including but not limited to Google Analytics, WordPress and Yoast SEO, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, and SiteImprove(or equivalent platforms). HubSpot certification a plus 
  • Demonstrated experience leading projects through every phase with minimal supervision In-depth knowledge of analytics (Google analytics, e-marketing insights, social media) 
  • Strong SEO experience with up-to-date knowledge of Google's ever-changing algorithm 
  • Proficiency with WebEx and GoToWebinar (or equivalent webinar platforms)
