Digital Designer

The Digital Designer is a prolific content generator and dynamic member of the Marketing team that reports to the Director of Digital Marketing. The Digital Designer is responsible for executing a range of thoughtful and engaging digital content for a variety of websites, email marketing campaigns, social media channels and digital ads. The role has an emphasis on fulfilling the Company’s digital design needs, but also performs design work for print applications in support of the Art Director. In sum, the Digital Designer is responsible for contributing to the brand’s growth through digital design.


  • Produce thoughtful and engaging digital content for a variety of websites, email marketing campaigns, social media channels and digital ads.
  • Create effective images, illustrations, videos, motion graphics, etc.. that utilize creative concepts and market research in order to execute Marketing/Sales strategies.
  • Work with the e-commerce team and third-party developers to ensure website aesthetics are aligned with brands standards, and user experience expectations.
  • Work with developers to ensure proper implementation, consistency, and integrity of brand vision. Develop regular creative content for Rishi social media.
  • Perform production design work, including banner sizing, image manipulation, and file cataloging. Ensure consistency of brand and creative concepts across digital consumer touch points.
  • Provide creative support to ancillary business channels producing menus, sell sheets, event signage, and similar offline collateral.
  • Contribute creative ideation for new and ongoing marketing initiatives. 

Brand Stewardship:

  • Uphold and reinforce Rishi brand positioning, messaging, and image in digital environments. 
  • Collaborate with Digital Marketing Director, Art Director, Vice President of Business Development to determine other objectives, presentation styles, and approaches necessary to complete creative projects. 

Quality Control:

  • Confirm accuracy of all files and layouts before posting. 
  • Prep and submit labels and files to the Compliance department as needed. 
  • Perform quality control of printed or published materials. 


  • Develop original creative works that effectively promote the Rishi brand and drives awareness and interaction online across a variety of channels and platforms, including websites and social media.
  • Create a cohesive visual alignment with the websites, email campaigns, social media and Rishi’s brand image overall. Elaborate on Rishi’s brand graphic standards for digital and web specific platforms.
  • Design custom email campaigns for ecommerce and wholesale teams.
  • Build pages on written by the marketing team.
  • Create engaging digital ads for all of Rishi’s unique sales channels.
  • Create a set of dynamic, interactive presentations pieces / decks for use by Sales and Marketing members.
  • Establish and manage a library of digital assets optimized for viewing and sharing through email or social media outlets.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Digital Design/Graphic Design/Communication Design (preferred)
  • Minimum three years of professional design experience – agency experience is prefered.
  • Able to present concepts, incorporate creative feedback and guide internal and external teams to a common goal.
  • Experience in digital marketing/design with a strong knowledge of Adobe Suite, web design, HTML, photo editing, and the principles of web development and brand marketing. Front end development skills and photography skill are a plus.
  • Experience designing e-commerce emails, landing pages and advertisements.
