Boelter + Lincoln is seeking a versatile and forward-thinking Digital Experience Specialist to join our team. In this hybrid creative/developer role, you will build, and optimize engaging digital solutions across websites, mobile platforms, and interactive applications. You will work collaboratively with designers, developers, and marketing teams to deliver exceptional, user-centric experiences that are visually compelling, technically sound, and aligned with business goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, develop, and execute high-quality, responsive, and accessible digital experiences across web and mobile platforms
  • Design and optimize user interfaces, user flows, and interactive features with a strong focus on usability, accessibility (WCAG compliance), and performance
  • Partner with the Digital Experience Director to provide accurate project estimates, delivery schedules, and milestones
  • Collaborate on strategic planning, including digital roadmaps, creative briefs, and technical specifications
  • Implement and manage SEO best practices, including on-page optimization, metadata management, internal linking strategies, structured data markup (Schema.org), and content optimization for target keywords
  • Translate wireframes, prototypes, and design concepts into functional, responsive front-end code
  • Develop and maintain websites using modern front-end and back-end technologies
  • Integrate APIs, third-party services, and marketing automation tools into digital platforms
  • Perform ongoing optimization for SEO, page speed, mobile responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility
  • Implement analytics and tracking tools (Google Analytics, Tag Manager, etc.) to measure and improve performance
  • Conduct quality assurance testing, including unit testing, regression testing, and accessibility audits
  • Document workflows, code standards, and best practices for maintainability and scalability
  • Stay current on emerging trends, frameworks, and development practices, and share insights to drive innovation within the team

  • Consistent adherence to coding standards, accessibility guidelines, and performance benchmarks
  • Positive collaboration and communication within cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated contribution to improving user engagement, conversion, and retention metrics
  • Ongoing professional development and successful application of new technologies
  • 4+ years of professional experience in web or digital product development (agency or in-house)
  • Strong front-end development skills: HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design frameworks (Bootstrap, Tailwind, etc.)
  • Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries (React, Vue.js, Angular)
  • Basic to intermediate back-end experience with Node.js, PHP, or similar server-side languages
  • Experience with content management systems (WordPress, Drupal, headless CMS solutions)
  • API integration experience (REST, GraphQL) and familiarity with JSON data handling
  • Knowledge of version control systems (Git/GitHub/GitLab) and CI/CD workflows
  • Proficiency with design and prototyping tools (Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud)
  • Understanding of SEO best practices, Core Web Vitals, and web performance optimization
  • Experience with analytics platforms and A/B testing tools
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
