Element, a full-service advertising, web development, digital marketing, and public relations agency in De Pere and Neenah, Wisconsin, is looking for another go-to analytics expert.

We’re in search of a modern-day data expert who is looking to work in a creative environment and understands how to help solve complex business problems through insightful data analysis. The main responsibility of our Digital Marketing Analyst is to take raw web-based user interaction data, align it with marketing strategy, and create meaningful insights with recommendations to continually increase the effectiveness of our clients’ digital marketing efforts. Secondarily is to administer and manage marketing automation strategies and advanced data tracking functionality by leveraging the knowledge of multiple software systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and understand business problems to create data measurement strategies that determine what metrics to capture and analyze 
  • Create custom data segments in Google Analytics that are in alignment with marketing strategy 
  • Administer and manage advanced analytics tracking capabilities, such as event and goal tracking 
  • Formulate insights around customer engagement that drive revenue through ongoing website user data analysis 
  • Test and analyze workflow, content, lead scoring, and digital marketing tactics for improvement 
  • Share insights and data interpretations from marketing initiatives, such as social media, paid digital campaigns, and organic search presence that are meaningful to executives at any level 
  • Write monthly and quarterly client reports through user data collection and analysis focusing on data that accurately measures results, versus purely measuring meaningless activity 
  • Keep lead data flowing efficiently between marketing automation (e.g. HubSpot, Act-On) and CRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics) 
  • Manage and administer marketing automation tactics using a variety of software systems, including customer email marketing campaigns, nurture tracks, and visitorID reporting 
  • Stay on top of technology trends and changes as they relate to the ability to provide insights created from website user data
  • Three or more years of experience in data analysis and reporting 
  • Two or more years of experience in marketing automation administration and management
  • A strong understanding of integrated digital marketing practices, tactics, and strategies 
  • Proficient writing skills to explain complex data information in a meaningful and concise way 
  • An understanding of API integration with software platforms and web-based properties 
  • Google Analytics certified 
  • Proven ability to provide solutions to complex problems 
  • Ability to create multilayered custom reporting segments in Google Analytics 
  • First-hand experience with Google Data Studio to create custom reporting dashboards and visual data graphs is a plus 
  • Experience with HubSpot and/or ClickDimensions is a plus 
  • Experience with Google Ads and paid digital media is a plus 
  • A love of memes and GIFs is highly encouraged
