Overview:

The Digital Analytics Manager is responsible for providing accurate data-driven insight and analysis in the fields of ecommerce and digital marketing. You will be responsible for the management of the systems and processes including retrieval, analysis and reporting out of data to drive Patterson digital business.

As an expert, the Digital Analytics Manager will partner with and educate the digital analytics team members, product managers, and business stakeholders on best practices; be an advocate for the importance of data driven decision making; and have a curiosity to uncover meaningful insights that will benefit customers and the business.

This role will be part of a dynamic and collaborative team working to transform our digital business. We are looking for a passionate person eager to help evolve our digital analytics practice.

Responsibilities:

Data Management:

  • Implement, execute, and track analytics strategies across our digital business 
  • Partner with IT, Product Managers, and the business to consult and influence business requirements that support the analytics development cycle, prioritization, and deadlines. 
  • Create, implement, and manage the tagging strategy 
  • Provide and guide ongoing eCommerce and digital channel optimization and engagement that teams can act on to improve performance, engagement and CX metrics that result in increased sales/revenue/ and customer retention/satisfaction
  • Measure, report, analyze, and distribute eCommerce and campaign data and dashboards to internal business partners and leadership. 
  • Synthesize multiple sources of data as well as large data sets, pulling key insights into actionable business strategies 
  • Apply statistical methods to identify factors that affect business results, weigh the influence, and understand probable outcomes based on different actions taken. 
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy of all online and web analytics data via the continual monitoring, assessment, and auditing of site and program tags. 
  • Extract and analyze web data, business performance metrics, and other multichannel data from many sources - online and offline, both qualitative and quantitative, and including the segmentation of customers, acquisition sources, video, email, and social. 
  • Configure and use web analytics data to recognize patterns and trends to understand visitor behavior and identify improvement opportunities, increase of traffic, conversions and revenue 
  • Build and maintain a knowledge base of insights, best practices, and evergreen processes.

People Management:

  • Encourage the growth of all direct and indirect reports through skill development and goal setting. 
  • Hold direct reports accountable for meeting performance standards and departmental performance goals. 
  • Mentor staff, measure performance, and complete regular performance reviews. 
  • Resolve employee issues in an effective and consistent manner.
  • Bachelor’s degree in an analytical discipline or related field of study or equivalent combination of experience and education 
  • At least 5 years of experience in digital analytics, with at least 2 years of leadership experience. 
  • Experience with digital and data management platforms like Google Analytics, Tableau, Microsoft Excel, Google Tag Manager 
  • Ability to interpret data and analyze results to generate insights. 
  • Excellent communication skills and proven ability to collaborate effectively with business teams and developers. 
  • Proven experience in transforming analytics into concise and actionable reports 
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills 
  • Multi-tasking results oriented individual with ability to identify dependencies, and leverage multiple sources of information at once 
  • Intellectually curious and excited to learn new things 
  • Familiarity working in an Agile development environment 
  • A motivated self-starter with the ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively with other groups in the organization. 
  • Ability to successfully operate in a highly matrixed, complex, and changing global business while handling numerous priorities simultaneously
