Digital Marketing & Communications Manager

Do you live and breathe marketing, communications, and brand execution? If so, then we want to talk to you. We are looking for a Marketing & Communications Manager to execute our marketing and communication strategies with our partners and direct to consumer customers. Our digital marketing campaigns are very robust as we have a network of over half a million members and growing. You possess a strong set of skills to be able to lead integrated digital marketing campaigns from concept through execution.


  • Build, manage, and execute email marketing programs including: generating content, modifying and creating email templates, campaigns, and audience lists, then testing, distributing, and reporting 
  • Provide strategic guidance and tactical implementation for both new and existing email marketing programs 
  • Drive email subscription growth by working with related departments and clients while washing our existing lists to clean out unneeded or desired audience 
  • Develop new surveys and testing strategies that deliver against ROI targets through a segmented customer base 
  • Create content and execute social media strategy campaigns with responsibilities including: planning and scheduling, building and testing audiences, content creation, and monitoring and reporting campaign results 
  • Provide monthly digital reporting including complete marketing campaign overviews with analysis on public relations performance, email performance, paid media, organic social, PR and traditional marketing 
  • Continuously improve campaigns by capturing data and analyzing the results, providing insights and best practices and acting on the information 
  • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies 
  • Evaluate and understand all emerging technologies and use of various platforms that ‘talk’ to each other internally 
  • Manage company marketing website, news platform, and all related content side of our outward facing media


  • 2-5 years experience setting up and managing results-driven email marketing, social media programs/campaigns, and press release/communications 
  • BS/MS degree in marketing or a related field 
  • Proven working experience in digital marketing, specifically MailChimp as this is the main platform for our outreach and a must that you are versed in email marketing software and have the ability and desire to eventually be considered an expert 
  • Creative with content writing and article creation experience 
  • Social media management, specifically responsible for executing campaigns and content creation, research, and executing on our established deadlines 
  • Any graphic design, photography, or design related skills are a plus 
  • SEO experience and WordPress knowledge is a plus 
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to work on multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products 
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop/Illustraor or similar graphic design a plus 
  • Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels 
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking 
  • Excellent communications skills 
  • Desire to work in fast paced startup environment

Successful candidates for this role also will be responsible for handling correspondence with external stakeholders and communicating with vendors/clients and other departments within the company to keep marketing efforts on track. In this role, you will help develop and execute marketing and communication tactics to support the marketing team which helps aid with cross-team collaboration.
