Job Summary:

The digital marketing coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the successful implementation of the organization’s digital marketing and internal communications strategies. The coordinator supports the Digital Marketing Manager in the implementation of online marketing strategies and tactics to build brand awareness and support volume growth, working cross-functionally with the corporate marketing and communications teams. The coordinator also supports corporate communications by developing and coordinating corporate and department communications through the Intranet.

(55%) Digital Marketing Support

  • Collaborate with corporate marketing and market representatives to support online marketing, mobile and social media campaigns by writing digital and media for consumer and professional audiences
  • Write and post across various social media channels (web site, CDI national blog, Facebook Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.) to support content marketing initiatives
  • Maintain and help to evolve the voice of online communications; research, write and edit SEO-rich, grammatically accurate content for CDI’s websites, e-mails and social media, taking a proactive approach to improve our communications and brand across all online channels
  • Implement, maintain and optimize website and other online tools using the Company’s Content Management Systems
  • Work with multiple owners of particular content to revise, measure and ensure consistent, accurate content and copyrighting
  • Write concise and powerful marketing copy for banner ads, landing pages, social media and other online communications, as directed
  • Identify and communicate website and promotional content and methodologies to internal departments and external vendors to meet planned business objectives for the online channels
  • Support search engine marketing (SEM) activities as defined, including search engine optimization (SEO), pay-per-click advertising, social media and email marketing
  • Support the maintenance of metrics/dashboards that monitor performance of online campaigns and tools
  • Research potential tools/channels to enhance how we reach and engage our target audiences
  • Adhere to all corporate compliance, policies and procedures.

(35%) Internal Communications Support

  • Responsible for supporting the intranet as a key internal communications channel and ensuring that the content delivers on business goals and priorities in a creative, timely and engaging manner 
  • Responsible for driving content creation and publishing, including production of creative visual design elements in support of online messaging 
  • Work with key stakeholders across the company to maximize intranet usage and effectiveness across all functions and business units 
  • Manage editorial calendar for the company intranet, and support corporate communications in the proactive creation of content as required by the business 
  • Oversee intranet community management, encouraging owners to update content and remove obsolete materials, sharing best practice, and providing ongoing user training as required 
  • Troubleshooting site and content related issues, ensuring they are dealt with in an efficient manner 
  • Partner with IT to ensure the intranet environment is stable, secure, resilient, monitored and backed-up in line with continuity plans

(5%) Marketing Team Support

  • Partners with the Digital Marketing Manager to support the education and training of associates on digital and online marketing tools 
  • Participates in marketing team activities and supports marketing team goals

(5%) Completes other tasks and projects as assigned

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Communications, Digital Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations or related field 
  • 1-2 years Digital and online marketing channel experience; 
  • 1-2 years experience in managing content for online platforms 
  • Demonstrated experience in integrated content marketing 
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat Professional, and SharePoint 
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS), posting and organizing online content
