Digital Marketing Intern

Paper Transport, Inc. is looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Intern to join our Marketing department. In this position, you will develop a well-rounded foundation of digital marketing strategies and gain professional experience. You'll be exposed to data-driven marketing strategies, and learn how to use tools to analyze performance and gather information. Our ideal candidate has design skills to produce high-quality content for social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn. Applicants should be current students in a post-secondary program, but recent graduates can also apply.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside the marketing team to develop and execute social media content marketing campaigns for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn
  • Manage an editorial calendar and ensure we meet all deadlines, creative assets, URL tracking, etc.
  • Analyze traffic and user engagement data to assess results and optimize content and improve conversions
  • Develop social and digital advertising recommendations Assist with content development such as blogs, videos, and email
  • Contribute to brand strategy that aligns and supports short-term and long-term goals
  • Work effectively with team members, contributing to team efforts


  • Students/Graduates who have or will receive a degree in Marketing, Communications or a similar field
  • Good understanding of the latest marketing trends and techniques Understanding of social networks
  • Good organizational and time-management skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Eager to learn and grow in a dynamic and fast-paced environment Experience with Adobe Suite a plus, but not needed

Need Specifics?

  • Location: Onsite at our Corporate Office - De Pere, WI
  • Type of Employment: Part-Time Internship 
  • Schedule: 15 to 20 hours, Monday through Friday (around your school schedule) – Option for full-time during summer
  • Internship Duration: 6 months (or longer if agreed upon)
  • Paid Internship
  • Ability to work remote (hybrid model)
