Wespath, recognized as a 2017-2024 Chicago’s Best and Brightest Companies to Work For® and a 2018-2024 National Best and Brightest Companies to Work For®, has an opportunity for a Digital Marketing Manager – Investments that is key to helping Wespath grow its institutional investor base through strategic marketing efforts. By using data-driven strategies and targeted campaigns, the manager will maximize investor engagement and strengthen marketing outreach. The ideal candidate will have expertise in investment marketing, campaign execution and metrics analysis, ensuring a well-structured, high-impact approach that supports Wespath’s broader business goals.

More specifically, as the Digital Marketing Manager - Investments you will:

• Develop and execute targeted marketing strategies to drive engagement with prospective institutional investors and partners in new target markets. Partner with Wespath’s institutional sales team to align marketing and sales efforts.
• Create marketing communications across all channels that highlight Wespath’s investment value proposition, supporting various current and prospective investors. Collaborate with the Multimedia team to create compelling visual and interactive materials tailored to investor groups.
• Develop integrated marketing campaigns that combine traditional channels, advertising, sponsorships, and strategic partnerships with faith-based and non-profit networks. Utilize analytics tools to generate detailed insights, measuring campaign effectiveness.
• Collaborate closely with Investment Management to develop and refine marketing strategies for new funds, investment products, and evolving strategies, ensuring clear communication of Wespath’s investment philosophy and process to institutional investors and stakeholders.
• Play a key role in shaping pipeline development and marketing qualified lead (MQL) methodology, ensuring effective tracking mechanisms. Work with the Manager, Investment Communications and Marketing to analyze key metrics, assessing marketing efforts against Growth Plan KPIs and providing regular updates to leadership. Optimize Salesforce functionality to improve investor data tracking, recommending tools and systems that enhance marketing efficiency and engagement.

• Conduct ongoing research and due diligence on prospective investors, and investment research to monitor market trends, emerging opportunities, and industry shifts. Regularly share key findings with the Communications team, supporting refined messaging and alignment with evolving investor needs.
• Partner with the Web Manager and Social Media Manager to develop and execute an institutional digital marketing strategy, continuously monitoring and optimizing website and social media engagement.

• Support the Investment Communications and Marketing team with various tasks as needed, including assisting with Requests for Proposal (RFPs), reviewing and updating PowerPoint presentations, and providing additional marketing support.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, marketing or product management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of demonstrated success in developing and executing high-impact marketing strategies, campaigns, and materials, with a strong focus on the asset management, wealth management, or philanthropic sectors.
• Solid understanding of investment principles and industry dynamics.
• Hands-on experience with Excel, Salesforce CRM and marketing analytics platforms to track performance, manage pipelines, and optimize engagement strategies.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency in PowerPoint and graphic design, with a solid understanding of production processes to create visually compelling and brand-aligned materials.
• Experience developing integrated communications from concept to production, including writing for digital/print, web, and social media to ensure consistent and impactful messaging.

• The compensation range for this position is $100,000 - $110,000 with a bonus opportunity and customary benefits. Final compensation will be set based on the hired applicant’s qualifications (education, training, and/or experience related to this role), and as such, may fall outside the range shown.
