Job Dimensions:

The Digital Marketing Manager leads development and execution of the division’s digital marketing strategy to build the Bostik brand, increase customer engagement, and generate leads and order demand through digital means. The Digital Marketing Manager leads a large portion of our digital initiatives including the website, our mobile application, product information management, digital advertising, and e-commerce.

Activities:

  • Manages website content and layouts across the North American C&C brands’ (Bostik, XL, Siroflex) websites keeping the user and mobile experience top-of-mind. Partners with internal and external web developers when necessary to assess and resolve any technical challenges with digital channels, as well as delivering requirements for or helping to implement new functionality on the websites
  • Project management of C&C digital execution including setting, communicating, and maintaining timelines and priorities on every project
  • Works with Marketing Communications Manager to plan and execute customer acquisition programs to our targeted customer groups that include a mix of digital paid campaigns, email, social media, and SEO
  • Optimizes digital spend and performance, within given budget, based on identified trends and insights
  • Develops and continuously improves a distributor e-commerce platform to provide a touchless ordering system
  • Develops and continuously improves a consumer e-commerce platform for select products and work with a cross-functional team to assure a seamless customer experience from order to delivery to the customer
  • Measures and reports performance of digital marketing campaigns with a regular cadence. Offers regular analysis of effectiveness of tools, develop metrics for success and best practices, delivering and executing recommendations for improvement to the Marketing Director and C&C Leadership
  • Manages SEO including ongoing projects and evolving SEO strategy to technology changes 
  • Leverages analytics from various sources including Google Analytics, site testing, technology tools, and industry reports to monitor, recommend, and implement optimizations and enhancements to the website and e-commerce platforms
  • Implements and manages content curation
  • Maintains working knowledge of digital best practices
  • Tracks Bostik C&C’s position relative to competitor's websites, user experience, features and share of audience
  • Drives measurable organic web traffic growth goals
  • Demonstrates the ability to gain the support necessary to drive successful projects through a global matrix organization
  • Assists in the development and improvement of a Product Information Management (PIM) system
  • Oversees the work of internal digital marketing professionals and external digital agencies for projects when necessary
  • Provides C&C Marketing Communications support as needed including the execution of email marketing campaigns
  • Identifies continuous improvements in digital execution including recommendations on additional technologies, tools, services, and platforms to support the customer, marketing and sales
  • Perform administrative duties as required including invoice processing, budget tracking, and other duties as assigned

The Digital Marketing Manager will lead strategy development and coordinate execution activities with internal and external partners and working and communicating with internal stakeholders at all levels

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Digital Marketing, Marketing, Communications, or Business and at least five years of experience managing a digital marketing team and digital projects in a marketing organization
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Marketo (or similar marketing automation tool), Salesforce (or similar CRM system), and Jahia (or similar website CMS)
  • E-Commerce platform management experience
  • Experience managing digital advertising campaigns including paid display programs via the Google Ad Network or other ad networks, with specific experience in geo-targeted campaigns and retargeting campaigns
  • Demonstrated experience in improving SEO including content optimization, site architecture, keyword management, and backlinks
  • Google Analytics certified
