Cousins Subs is looking for a Digital Marketing Manager who oversees the brand’s digital strategy, social media marketing initiatives and serves as product owner on multiple digital and technology-driven projects. The right candidate is digitally-focused and desires to continually grow his/her core skill set in the fast-paced restaurant industry. The Digital Marketing Manager should be able to leverage past consumer brand or agency experience to spot trends and envision the digital future. You’ll lead our effort to provide a better online and in-store guest experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the brand’s digital strategy and assist the Digital & Social Media Specialist with day-to-day execution in Digital Advertising, Social Media, Email Marketing, the Loyalty Program, Vendor Management, Planning. 
  2. Act as marketing’s product owner in technology-focused programs (CRM, Online Ordering, Mobile Applications, Websites, Digital Signage, SEM) 
  3. Utilize analytics to manage, track and evaluate customer experience across online channels to optimize for conversion (sales), guest experience and guest engagement through advanced analytics, conversion funnels and attribution. 
  4. Lead brand-level reporting for digital marketing campaigns and initiatives—providing recommendations for improvement to Cousins Subs’ leadership team 
  5. Manage national and regional digital marketing budgets 
  6. Report ROAS when available through existing marketing channels 
  7. Evaluate emerging technologies, develop business cases and provide perspective for potential adoption 
  8. Manage day-to-day efforts between partnerships, promotions and digital vendors to plan and execute digital marketing projects and programs 
  9. Develop materials and train franchisees in social media best practices through Social Media Program 
  10. Manage and develop Digital and Social Media Specialist

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree 
  2. 3 years relevant experience 
  3. Google Ad Words Certification preferred 
  4. Google Analytics Certification preferred 
  5. Facebook Blueprint Certification preferred 

Desired Characteristics:

  1. A deep understanding of the role that social and digital media plays in the communication mix and how to apply these principles to national programs and promotions 
  2. Ability to successfully plan and manage large projects in an agile environment (Scrum) 
  3. API and integration experience 
  4. Quality Assurance testing in web and mobile developments 
  5. Hands on digital design and programming experience 
  6. Creative thinking and analytical problem solving 
  7. Strong writing, interpersonal and communication skills, with a track record of great leadership and coaching abilities 
  8. Sound business acumen and negotiation skills 
  9. Fun and Collaborative! 
  10. Past restaurant experience is a plus
