Digital Marketing Manager
Twin Cities Metro
Minneapolis, MN

This position is responsible for developing and implementing the strategic digital marketing plan for CSM Corporation’s lodging and residential business units. Responsibilities include social media, search engine optimization, advertising (SEM: Google AdWords, etc.), content marketing and creating brand awareness through multiple marketing channels for CSM’s lodging and residential departments.


  • Partner with VP of Residential and Regional Directors of Sales and Marketing to create alignment and prioritize initiatives for CSM Lodging and Residential businesses 
  • Communicate frequently with VPs of Operations and Revenue Management to ensure alignment of initiatives 
  • Provide strategic direction & lead cross-functional teams to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual goals 
  • Lead the digital marketing strategy of a portfolio of hotels, including Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, and other brands 
  • Work with respective brands to leverage brand resources and platforms to drive more online contribution 
  • Manage content of all online travel agencies (like TripAdvisor and and hotel websites along with sending updates to the hotel group as needed 
  • Execute paid marketing campaigns to focus on opportunities, which may include Expedia Travel Ads, Google AdWords, social media campaigns, metasearch campaigns, email marketing and more 
  • Help research best practices and industry trends and relay any updates to the field in a timely manner 
  • Organizes the preparation of proposals and presentations using marketing resource materials such as data, slides, photographs, and reports 
  • Work with Marketing Coordinator to prepare status reports on marketing efforts for each initiative 
  • Execute project objectives with creative, visually compelling graphics under tight deadlines; projects will require both original designs and variations of established brand guidelines 
  • Work with Marketing Team on flyers, postcards, menus, signage, rack cards, business cards, channel guides, etc., for CSM properties across the board 
  • Optimize writing to increase SEO on all sites 
  • Work alongside the marketing team and web designer to create engaging visual web banners, graphics, updates to websites and creating e-blasts 
  • Provides marketing tracking and research information by implementing, collecting, analyzing, and summarizing metrics for our websites 
  • Work with photographers, schedule and manage property photoshoots, uploading photos to property websites 
  • Develop relationships and partner with a cross-functional team to advance opportunities 
  • Provide data and performance summaries; translate insight into action 
  • Provide details for marketing & sales materials 
  • Lead with a continuous improvement mindset, identify and recommend ways to improve processes


  • A bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field preferred.


  • Minimum 2 years of related experience 
  • Must be highly organized and proactive, detail and solution-oriented. 
  • Exceptional writing skills and creative thinking is a must 
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks is critical 
  • Ability to demonstrate success in developing, implementing and managing effective eCommerce strategies in previous roles 
  • Strong analytic background 
  • Solid interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to create holistic plans and communicate ideas to various departments 
  • Marriott Digital Systems knowledge a plus


  • Ability to lift, push or pull up to 25 pounds on an occasional basis.
