Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
ECE website
Responsible for and actively directs the development, implementation, and maintenance of the organiza-tion's website, with the exception of the account and ordering portion and the ECE Connection. Role is focused on marketing functions of the website.
Responsible for general oversight of ECE’s website presence. Communicates frequently with owners of other website functions, including operations, which owns changes to ordering content and structure; customer care, which owns customer communication; and IT, which owns systems integration when changes are needed.
Serves as a contact person and lead for any marketing-related external website vendors, as necessary, with support from the senior director of marketing and client solutions.
Uses CMS (Titan) to update website in a timely manner as needed. Training on Titan can be provided.
Manages web content and marketing projects related to the website. Reviews content for accuracy and when appropriate/able makes necessary updates. Consults with vendor, IT, and organizational leaders when significant website changes/modifications are needed.
Monitors web traffic and recommends improvements.
Writes, edits, and proofreads new website content with assistance from senior director of marketing and client solutions and other organizational members.
Leads content creation and maintenance of the ECE.org blog.
Ensures documents meet established content standards and works with developers to assess any tech-nical challenges in displaying the content.
Keeps abreast of trends in websites, user experience, etc., and makes recommendations based upon this information.
Digital Marketing
Creates a digital plan and strategy to increase and drive targeted traffic to multiple digital properties. With support from the senior director of marketing and client solutions and digital marketing specialist, this role is expected to increase lead generation through SEO improvements, paid search, email nurture program, online advertising, and social media campaigns.
Prepares and executes digital campaign plans to support product launches, thought leadership initiatives, and demand generation programs.
Analyzes results and proposes improvements in strategy on a continuous basis.
Budgets for needed tools and initiatives.
SEO and SEM
Improves SEO to drive organic website traffic.
Develops a website traffic plan and creates goals and benchmarks. Reports on plan progress.
Optimizes web page and external copy for SEO and usability.
Analyzes digital data to draw key recommendations around website optimization.
Supervision
Provides guidance and professional development for digital marketing specialist and digital marketing interns (on occasion).
Responsible for supervisor responsibilities including time sheet review, performance management, em-ployee development, and communication/ enforcement of policies and procedures.
Other duties may be assigned.

This is a remote position. Wisconsin-based individuals will receive preference. ECE is currently unable to work with candidates living in the following states: California, Colorado, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Washington and Washington D.C.
Some travel may be required.
