As a Digital Marketing Manager at Room & Board, you bring the expertise to strategize, develop and analyze our digital media plan into successful marketing campaigns that build brand awareness, inspire and engage customers and ultimately drive sales.

This full-time position reports to the Director of Communications at our Central Office located at 4600 Olson Memorial Highway, Golden Valley, MN. (Sorry, we’re not considering remote applicants for this role). The title "Manager" implies scope of role and cababilities we're seeking. The role does not have direct reports at this time.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead digital platforms for display, search and paid social media in partnership with agency partners and marketing analysts including campaign strategy, planning and management, execution, analysis and budget 
  • Drive content creation used for all paid digital advertising. Work in partnership with insights, creative, UEX and product teams to identify messages, products, landing pages and user experience. 
  • Monitor KPIs and set up mechanisms to measure and report on the performance of all digital campaigns, including results by platform, device, creative campaign and audience segment in partnership with marketing analysts. 
  • Bridge understanding of how online campaigns impact each other as well as offline campaigns and organic results. 
  • Serve as an expert in interpreting how global digital industry changes impact our business. 
  • Monitor competitor initiatives and digital efforts. 
  • Evaluate emerging new audience segments, trending topics, technology partners and companies in the digital landscape. 
  • Test audience segments to determine the best messages to serve to select individuals and the best time to reach them based on their customer journey.

The skills, experiences and qualifications you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or related field (at least 7 years of experience with no formal degree) 
  • 5+ years building paid/owned marketing campaigns on social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest) including experience in testing strategies 
  • Proficient in Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics and Microsoft (Excel, PowerPoint) 
  • Ability to plan, organize and prioritize multiple projects and maintain tight deadlines 
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills 
  • Strong consumer marketing experience and passion for retail and mobile - both strongly desired
