Digital Marketing Manager

As the Digital Marketing Manager you will build and execute our digital marketing strategy to grow awareness and generate demand in Sonic Foundry’s suite of products. You will be a critical, foundational member of the marketing team who will tackle projects large and small from digital advertising and campaigns to SEO to developing our overall website strategy. You will help cultivate the data we need to inform decisions around digital spend, leads and campaigns, ultimately contributing to explosive company growth.

  • Build, plan and implement overall digital marketing strategy
  • Partner with marketing team to develop and execute campaigns that lead to awareness, retention, and measurable lead generation
  • Drive ongoing website performance improvements to increase site engagement, form fills, and leads
  • Own strategy and manage outsourced firm for SEO/SEM, website management and maintenance, paid search, and social media advertising
  • Actively control and coordinate digital marketing spend, optimizing the marketing mix to maximize the investment in each channel
  • Utilize analytical insights to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple touchpoints
  • Administer, manage, and maintain a healthy marketing database 
  • Build and manage email campaigns and online forms using HubSpot
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience
  • Maintain marketing KPIs and metrics dashboards to determine the effectiveness of marketing activities: report on metrics regularly and adjust tactics to improve performance
  • Grow social media presence across channels and manage accounts
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and provide recommendations for adoption where appropriate
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience as a Digital Marketing Manager, preferably in the technology space
  • Hands on experience with SEO/SEM, Google Analytics, email campaigns, social media, and marketing automation platforms
  • Experience working in WordPress or other CMS Experience with creative campaign development, ABM, and digital marketing and advertising
  • Strong knowledge of lead generation, content development, and website strategies
  • Strong focus on metrics and analysis to improve marketing effectiveness across channels Critical thinker and problem solver
  • Experience owning marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Marketo or Eloqua preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related business field, or equivalent professional experience required.
