Position Highlights:

Create and execute successful campaigns and perform as a strategic-minded analyst. Execute best-practices for launching and running successful Search Engine Marketing (SEM) campaigns across all of the major platforms (Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, etc.) with a focus on targeting specific audiences through data analysis.

  • Search Engine Marketing (SEM) expert
  • Work collaboratively with the Marketing and Communications team to support SEM programs that reinforce the NSC business and mission objectives.

What You’ll Do:

Execution (50%)

  • Perform daily management of paid search and paid display campaigns which include: campaign launches, budget management, analytics tracking and reporting, and optimizations. 
  • Perform daily management of paid social campaigns which include: campaign launches, budget management, analytics tracking and reporting, and optimizations. 
  • Manage conversions, event tracking and goal set up in Google Analytics / Google Tag Manager. 
  • Manage organizational requirement updates across both 1st and 3rd party landing pages and lead forms. 
  • Ability to build new landing pages and lead forms as needed. 
  • Prepare web traffic and download reports for internal and external teams. 
  • Complete other duties, tasks and activities as they arise.

Strategy (25%)

  • Strategize and manage a variety of paid campaigns from concept to creation to execution. 
  • Develop marketing strategies and marketing plans to support and achieve business objectives.
  • Present marketing strategy, new vendor recommendations, and campaign performance reviews to internal and external teams.

Analysis (25%)

  • Analyze trends and innovations in search engine marketing. 
  • Gather data on consumer, competitor, and market conditions.
  • Collect, analyze and interpret data to provide insights as to what the numbers mean for the customer’s current paid campaign as well as long-term paid strategy. 
  • Leverage real-time data dashboards and other reporting tools to communicate campaign performance to internal and external teams and create a clear campaign strategy. 
  • Continuously measure campaign performance while also establishing benchmarks and recommending future optimizations.

We’re Looking for Someone with:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or relevant field and at least 6 years of relevant experience or in lieu of education, at least 8 years of the relevant experience of which should include:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in search engine marketing, primarily Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising. Experience with both paid search and display campaigns.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in paid social marketing, including Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter.
  • Minimum 2 years experience with Event tracking and Goal set up in Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.

Functional knowledge of email and web design technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, etc.).

Solid understanding of the digital landscape and ability to manage performance across multiple campaigns.

Strong interpersonal communication skills with an ability to present information to small groups.

Excellent writing and creative content skills and strong, professional verbal communication.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Exceptional time management skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects and ongoing work items; while effectively managing changing priorities.

Proficient in MS Office Suite.

Salesforce and Marketing Cloud experience a plus.
