Position Details

Digital Marketing Specialist
Southwest Wisconsin
Sun Prairie, WI

The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for the bank’s social media presence, and this includes creating, managing, maintaining, and reporting on all platforms. This position works with external and internal resources to secure or produce imagery, audio, and video. The Digital Marketing Specialist works closely with the AVP Marketing Content Strategy on copywriting and using externally produced content in the bank’s marketing communications. This role is also on point for digital, email marketing and website administration. Lastly, the Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for graphic design or production in line with the bank’s brand to best promote products, services, people.

  • Energetic idea-generator who is skilled at execution in social media and digital marketing
  • Enthusiastic about capturing a company’s brand and culture through imagery, video, audio on an ongoing basis 
  • Creatively minded with an eye toward producing results and strong technical aptitude 
  • Ability to plan and organize work tasks, output, and deliverables in a timely basis with changing priorities 
  • Strong verbal and written communications 
  • Strong understanding of web administration and web design through Content Management Systems (CMS) 
  • Ability to manage Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and understand concepts such as pay-per-click, re-targeting, etc. 
  • Video and digital camera knowledge, use and editing. 
  • Advanced knowledge of design, layout, and production of written, printed, and digital/electronic materials 
  • Understanding of Google Analytics and reporting on broad marketing statistics across channels including web statistics, social media, and email marketing performance
  • Ability to work with and through internal compliance, security, and audit functions in review of marketing’s work prior to launching 
  • Ability to make important decisions on content and postings while working in field
  • Continuous improvement in digital marketing field through ongoing development in fast-paced, evolving, and highly technical environment
  • Bachelor’s or associate degree in marketing, communications or related 
  • Two years’ experience in the financial services industry or another business-to-consumer environment preferred 
  • Five years’ experience with social media platforms, CRM or marketing automation systems, graphic/production design, website administration and email marketing campaigns 
  • Flexibility to participate in bank events in a 30-mile radius with some evenings and weekends required to advance the bank’s social media presence 
  • A valid driver’s license, vehicle and insurance coverage
