Digital Marketing Specialist

CEL Marketing | PR | Design is looking to expand its digital marketing capabilities by adding a highly motivated, results-oriented digital marketer. You will develop and implement integrated marketing communications plans for clients across service-based verticals (health services, business services, education). This person will create automated marketing campaigns for our agency and several clients. We are a small but mighty, strategic team who creates effective marketing campaigns to deliver lasting results for clients.


Digital Marketing Strategy

  • Design, develop, and implement digital marketing programs including but not limited to Search Engine Optimization, Search Engine Marketing, social media, content marketing automation, display and retargeting strategies 
  • Analyze data, review trends, and present opportunities to improve marketing strategies 
  • Research marketing opportunities for agency and clients 
  • Apply business goals to appropriate campaign measurement and set priorities 
  • Effectively present results and recommendations

Websites, Display and Search

  • Write content that performs well with search engines to improve organic search results – Search Engine Optimization (SEO) 
  • Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking, and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords and lead generation goals 
  • Build and implement organic and paid search campaigns using competitive analysis tools and keyword research – Search Engine Marketing (SEM) 
  • Measure and optimize tools and campaigns (organic and paid) 
  • Identify keywords to incorporate into content and campaigns

Email Marketing

  • Set-up and implement marketing automation from simple to complex 
  • Effectively execute email marketing for agency and client needs 
  • Use best practices in marketing segmentation, subject lines, timing and design 
  • Measure and optimize email messaging with A/B testing and common email metrics

Social Media Marketing

  • Create social media strategies focused on telling stories in compelling ways 
  • Create audience-specific social media content to drive engagement 
  • Select the right tools and channels for campaigns 
  • Measure success and optimize content for the audience

Mobile Marketing

  • Understand the areas of digital marketing where mobile friendly options are critical 
  • Execute mobile communications such as text, push strategies, and geofencing 
  • Measure and optimize for the mobile experience


  • In collaboration with creative, marketing and public relations colleagues in our agency, you will be responsible for creating and executing of inbound marketing, increasing website traffic, conversions and other digital communications 
  • Digital marketing certificate and/or applicable Google certificates 
  • Demonstrated marketing automation experience (HubSpot preferred) 
  • Proven success with a range of online advertising platforms and tools, including Google AdWords, Google AdWords Editor, Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, Twitter, Facebook Ads Manager and Facebook Business Manager 
  • Comprehensive knowledge of SEM and SEO ranking factors and search algorithms 
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, public relations, journalism or related field 
  • A close eye for details, with the ability to forecast and manage client budgets 
  • Ability to handle multiple projects at once and perform under tight deadlines 
  • Excellent analytical, research, written and verbal communication skills
