Digital Marketing Specialist

The Digital Marketing Specialist will join the Creative team, home to our Design, Product Development, R&D, Brand, and Marketing teams. We are looking for an experienced and result-driven digital channel expert to join our awesome team! As the Digital Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for the execution of all digital marketing initiatives across multiple platforms and formats. The ultimate goal for these efforts is to drive growth, increasing brand awareness, customer acquisition, consumer engagement, qualified lead generation, customer retention, and other positive brand related outcomes. You will work with the Marketing Manager, internal marketing team and external marketing agencies to help you deploy all campaigns and promotions while leading our B2C ecommerce platform. You must have an obsession for campaign performance, reporting and analytics.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Execute digital marketing strategy

  • Support the execution of multi-channel digital marketing plans to grow ecommerce sales and share of voice. This includes content calendar development, channel planning, media mix strategy, paid media, social media, and email marketing.
  • Work with our in-house marketing team to plan and manage search, display, remarketing, shopping, affiliate, and video campaigns with a test-and-learn mentality.
  • Identify trends and insights and optimize spend and performance accordingly.

Lead B2C ecommerce operations

  • Recommend and lead execution of UX, merchandising, content, and technical optimizations.
  • Work with internal and external partners to develop assets to support programs.
  • Drive consistent deployment of website promotions and campaigns.
  • Oversee new development and ongoing site maintenance.

Drive digital capabilities

  • Solid understanding and passion for new technologies; provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption.
  • Be constantly curious, look for what's next, and take chances.
  • Inspire innovation within the organization.
  • Share knowledge of how B2B and B2C competitors are using digital marketing.

Measure digital results

  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
  • Provide the cross-functional team high level site/email/social/paid and project-based performance reporting via web analytic tools like Google Analytics.
  • Conduct ongoing analysis of performance & best practices across all customer touch points.
  • Deliver actionable insights from KPIs to consistently improve usability, content consumption, user funnels, and ecommerce conversion.

Manage digital partner relationships

  • Act as the primary contact and source of knowledge for our digital partners.
  • Weigh priorities, manage budgets, and ensure work is being performed on time and on budget.
  • Maintain relationships with active digital partners. Reach out to new digital partners.

Skills & Knowledge Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising or like field or a combination of education, experience, and training which provides the background necessary for performing the work. 
  • 2-4 years' experience executing across digital marketing channels 
  • Proficiency in managing SEO/SEM, e-commerce website, paid media, marketing database, email, and social media marketing 
  • Ability and drive to think creatively, independently, and innovatively 
  • Analytical skills to forecast and identify trends and challenges 
  • Expert at understanding marketing analytics, Google Analytics, and performance reporting 
  • Experience managing affiliate networks (e.g., CJ Affiliate) 
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment 
  • Familiarity with Shopify Plus (preferred)
