The ideal applicant will possess a strong knowledge base that blends graphic design, technology and user experience for websites and other creative digital assets within the marketing area. This position will be responsible for contributing to website redesign projects, monitoring and posting on blogs and social networks, optimizing our website and conducting keyword analysis, create and implement content calendars for updates, and send email promotions as needed.

Essential job functions:

  • Maintain, enhance, and implement website elements for various corporate brands
  • Proactively recognize digital/mobile user experience and improve websites to provide the best possible experience
  • Understand and develop marketing assets according to brand standards
  • Stay current on company product updates and implement website changes accordingly,verify sites are elevated using Search Engine Optimization tools and updating/creating back-end content
  • Optimize or develop copy for website and digital platforms as needed
  • Marketing liaison to internal IT teams and third-party vendors for web-based projects, assist customers with digital projects as required
  • Perform any other duties specified by Manager. 

Additional job requirements:

  • Stay up-to-date on current digital user behavior and design trends
  • Execute work that is consistent with brand standards
  • Adhere to all safety and quality standards and expectations
  • Sit continuously for 2-3 hour time periods, maintain constant visual alertness for 2-3 hour time periods
  • Knowledge and experience using Adobe Creative Suite and back-end website content management system
  • Drive to continually learn and stay ahead of the evolving design and technology landscape
  • Superior creative and technical writing skills and experience
  • Ability to balance the requirements of multiple, concurrent projects and meet deadlines
  • Self-starting and comfortable working both individually and as part of a team
  • Desire and ability to learn quickly
  • Excellent organizational, artistic, design, creative and technical skills
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Must be dependable
  • Knowledge of window/wood industry helpful
  • Knowledge of Kentico platform beneficial
  • Knowledge of WordPress sites beneficial
