Essential Functions:

  • Maintain regional and USA websites with regularly updated content by teaming with global partners for localized site management 
  • Deliver necessary training, setup and monitoring of country-specific iterations of the website for global eBusiness partners and the distribution network 
  • Manage social media content generation and curation across global regions 
  • Understand and use a range of SEM and SEO techniques to drive web and social media traffic 
  • Successfully implement the online merchandising strategy leading to maximum customer engagement with the website 
  • Regularly review, analyze, and report engagement KPI’s for all online platforms including the website, social media, and SEM functions 
  • Benchmark the performance and value of the divisional digital marketing efforts against competitors. 
  • Regularly report comparative findings 
  • Deploy corporate/field/customer communications through enterprise email management tool 
  • Grow, maintain and optimize customer database for customer segmentation, analysis, and outbound marketing efforts 
  • Coordinate promotional communications across global regions 
  • Build relationships with distributors/stores and assist them in reaching their goals and objectives 
  • Adopt Parker’s lean philosophies and apply those principles toward continuous improvement efforts 
  • Work collaboratively with divisional and field sales personnel in order to obtain results that are consistent with the vision and goals of the WIN Strategy 
  • Assist in budget development and management

Major Duties:

  • Responsible for implementing all online marketing initiatives for the Division, including outbound communications to customers, the distribution network and internal stakeholders. Implement interactive programs that integrate with traditional marketing communications in order to ensure an engaging customer experience at all brand touchpoints, increasing sales and profit for the division. 
  • Partner and collaborate with global divisional staff, field sales, distributor/store network and groub/division management to help Parker succeed in achieving its Win Strategy objectives. 
  • Manage relationships with external agencies, contractors, and freelancers. 
  • Direct specific retail projects as they relate to product groups, retail promotions and/or target markets. Report directly to the Market Development Manager.

This position does not have direct reports.

  • Four-year college degree (B.S. or B.A.). MBA preferred 
  • 3-5 years digital marketing experience 
  • Proficient in software/web applications including Microsoft Office, Eloqua, Hootsuite, Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Facebook Insights and Facebook Advertising 
  • Experiencing executing SEO and SEM strategies in a business-to-business and/or retail environment 
  • Global marketing experience preferred 
  • Strong organizational and project management skills 
  • Exceptional interpersonal communications skills 
  • Excellent listening and consultative skills 
  • Firm understanding of using digital media to advertise and sell products and services 
  • Self-motivated with an ability to motivate others 
  • Be able to work in a results oriented, team oriented environment 
  • Interest and ability to learn and develop a working knowledge of Parker products, applications, distributor networks and markets 
  • Up to 20% travel may be required
