Description:

We are looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team at our corporate office in Plymouth, MN.

Responsibilities:

Primary duties are focused on the mission of generating leads through digital marketing channels for properties within our portfolio. These responsibilities include designing and maintaining websites, strategizing with marketing team and other internal teams to increase customer/lead base, developing content for social media, designing digital graphics and materials, drafting and managing all email campaigns for customer outreach, and work in various platforms and systems to optimize online performance, reputation management, and lead generation.

  • Working with Marketing Manager(s) and Director of Portfolio Marketing to implement marketing campaigns for our growing portfolio of brands 
  • Executing the full development and maintenance of our property websites including design, copywriting, user experience, and search engine optimization 
  • Understanding sales and leasing workflows and tracking key performance indicators on a regular basis 
  • Creating content for social media channels and managing both the social media accounts and content management platform 
  • Overseeing marketing technology systems used to enhance reputation management and actively drive initiatives to generate more customer reviews across the portfolio 
  • Developing email marketing campaigns to achieve business objectives 
  • Implementing multi-touch marketing campaigns 
  • Secondary research on new market trends and competitors 
  • Analyze and report on marketing performance

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree (Marketing, Journalism, Communications, Business, or related field preferred)

3+ years of relevant marketing experience in a corporate or agency environment

Experience in real estate property management, leasing, and/or B2C marketing preferred

Computer skills:

  • Office365 including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, and Teams 
  • Website design and management platforms — experience with RentCafé and WordPress preferred 
  • Mass email platforms including MailChimp 
  • Graphic design programs including Adobe Creative Suite and Canva

Digital marketing channels:

  • Google platforms including Ads, Analytics, and Business Profiles 
  • General knowledge of SEO practices preferred 
  • Social media platforms including Facebook and Instagram

Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills — communicates clearly, concisely, positively, and professionally

Able to interact with wide range of internal and external stakeholders

Self-motivated, self-directed, organized, detail-oriented, collaborative, inquisitive, motivating, energetic, and results-driven.

Willingness to learn and explore new strategies

Flexible to juggle multiple projects and priorities to meet changing deadlines
