We are looking for a highly creative and motivated Digital Marketing Specialist to drive our ambitious digital marketing goals. This position requires a unique mix of strategy and skills execution. This position requires a goal-oriented self-starter who can thrive in a fast-paced environment, where flexibility, creativity, and resourcefulness are required for success. This position will work closely with the Senior Communications Specialist, Marketing Manager and IS Team to develop and manage content for the brand’s web properties and social media platforms. The ideal candidate will have a firm grasp of SEO principles and practices and online reputation management.

Individuals in this position shall not engage in loan origination during the course of his/her employment with WMC. Loan origination is defined as (1) taking a residential mortgage loan application; or (2) offering or negotiating terms of a residential mortgage loan for compensation or gain; (3) advertising or communicating to the public that you can perform loan origination services.   • Provide functional expertise, and best practices and recommendations regarding the execution of digital marketing campaigns. Apply expertise to demonstrate how digital communications can improve the reach and enhance effectiveness campaign content.
  • Online reputation management.
  • Surveying employees and customers.
  • Create, measure, analyze and optimize marketing-related content performance in the various digital communication channels and provide insights and key learnings to affiliated teams.
  • Gather, synthesize and apply digital insights to inform campaign strategies.
  • Develop campaign success metrics, and track performance against goals.
  • Knowledge and analysis of Google algorithm updates and how they affect current on and off-page strategies and current projects; Proficiency with Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Google Webmaster Tools, Bing PPC.
  • Using a variety of software tools and program monitors, review and analyze site data weekly to report on the ranking of search terms, as well as search terms driving traffic vs. current keyword universe being used for on & off-page optimization.
  • Continuously advance knowledge of emerging technology, providing inspiration and thought leadership to all projects and departments.
  • Manage all reviews and data coming in from all sites and work with other departments to increase positive feedback in the marketplace.
  • Contribute to thought leadership for the digital communications strategy.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business and/or equivalent contemporary marketing work experience, 5-7 years of relevant work experience.
  • Highly creative with experience devising effective digital assets, digital campaigns, and web presence.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and managing marketing campaigns cost effectively with clear ROI focused metrics.
  • Excellent organizational, communication and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proven use of online analytics to interpret results, identify site opportunities, and drive strategic marketing decisions to maximize project effectiveness and overall customer experience.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

  • Advanced knowledge of related computer applications such as Microsoft Office, Google Analytics, HTML/CSS/JavaScript a plus.
