Digital Marketing Strategist

Our in-house creative marketing team needs more digital media firepower to design marketing campaigns and bring our marketing strategies to life. We need someone with 2+ years’ experience who can assist the marketing team to develop and execute targeted communications based on strategic market sector plans and goals.

In this role, you will work with our marketing team with marketing campaigns across all channels and international territories. You will work collaboratively with our V.P. of Global Marketing, marketing manager, specialists, trade-show coordinators, video producers as well as the sales, and product management teams to execute printed and digital content with a high opportunity for impact. Being part of a global marketing team, your role will involve a wide range of marketing activities offering the opportunity to gain experience in many marketing areas.

To succeed in this role, you must be passionate about influencer satisfaction and digital media, having both an eye for aesthetics and excellent attention to detail. Success will be measured in terms of productivity, influencer satisfaction, and overall metrics of the campaigns that you support.

You will:

  • Create – You’ll be generating ideas that are expressed visually, with words, and in the experiences we offer people. you’ll assist with maintaining the corporate brand, corporate positioning and messaging. You’ll be comfortable working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to refine ideas, and to communicate ideas to others.
  • Craft – You’re versed in digital creative and design. You’ll be working on our websites, creating great customer experiences, digital campaigns and communications that consider our SEO and SEM strategies. You’ll also be crafting non-digital campaigns and communications for print, events, and internal messaging.
  • Collaborate – We’re a global marketing team, working across Minneapolis, Texas, Boston, United Kingdom, Germany, France and more. You’ll need to work collaboratively across regions and with other APG teams.
  • Coordinate – You’re organized taking the lead on many marketing projects. You’re on the ball with deadlines and can plan for the unforeseen glitch. You’ll help facilitate our marketing plans to improve processes, managing market opportunities and communicating to a global internal and external audience.
  • Be an Ambassador – You’re responsible for helping build and maintaining “trusted-partner” relationships with customers, consultants, industry partners, team members and APG’s support staff.
