Digital Marketing Strategist

The Opportunity

Solid Digital is looking for an experienced digital marketing strategist to join our team in Downtown Chicago. As a digital marketing strategist, you will work with our clients and team to build digital marketing programs to fit their needs. You will also be involved in providing guidance with the marketing strategy for Solid Digital. We are looking for someone who has a proven track record working in the field for a few years with measurable results.

Here are some things we would be looking for:

Digital Strategy

  • Strategic engagement with clients to provide high-value marketing recommendations and tying those to our services 
  • Evaluation of strategies and tactics that can be implemented by Solid Digital and their clients to make an impact 
  • Developing multi-channel marketing campaigns that can make a difference to our client’s businesses

Digital Growth Client Management

  • Digital Growth, our proprietary digital strategy methodology, is a quarterly/monthly digital marketing program. This role will lead Digital Growth® strategy and status meetings. Trainingwill be provided.

Regular performance analysis and recommendations/tuneups

  • Setup reporting/goals for our programs and campaigns. Track to those metrics and pivot when needed

Coordinate with the delivery team ensuring that we execute the programs that are designed

Light copywriting and design abilities to perform basic delivery tasks. Solid Digital has a design team inhouse for advanced graphics creation.

Work with our Engagement Management team to best position and provide collateral for sales engagements

Direct the internal marketing committee and lead our own Digital Growth program

  • Able to provide mentorship and coaching to other team members 
  • Proficient in Google Analytics 
  • Experience with InfusionSoft, Hubspot, SEMRush, Gain, or equivalent marketing technologies

Communication and Relationship Building:

  • Build a relationship with your clients and team; good rapport here is key to the success of both the delivery process and account development. 
  • Make promises you can keep, and always set expectations realistically. 
  • Participates in team and business partner meetings effectively and efficiently. 
  • Hold regular status meetings with the project team and business partners. 
  • Keeps project team well informed of project changes, changes within the organization and general corporate news that affects our daily operations. 
  • Effectively communicates relevant project information to management. 
  • Delivers engaging, informative, well-organized presentations. 
  • Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion. 
  • Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully. 
  • Effectively convey our message and approach in both written and verbal communications.
