As the Digital Marketing Strategist at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, you will play an integral role building the UWM brand and supporting key university priorities and recruitment initiatives. Working collaboratively with the Integrated Marketing & Communication team and under the direction of the Digital Marketing Manager, you will buy digital media on behalf of the university with the goal of increasing awareness, generating leads and driving enrollment through digital advertising.
To excel as a Digital Marketing Strategist, you must be a leader with a well-rounded experience of budgeting and placing digital advertising, understanding digital analytics and KPIs, developing marketing strategies and working directly with direct media buyers like Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Snapchat, a DSP and other emerging platforms. In addition to buying and placing the media, the person in this position would report campaign progress using Google Analytics, Tag Manager and Data Studio.
