BVK is looking for an experienced digital media buyer to execute the planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting of paid social media campaigns.

The candidate will be responsible for implementing ad campaigns within social media platforms, conducting reporting, optimization, and billing activities.

You will collaborate on paid social strategy, recommending audience targeting and segmentation, campaign optimizations, setting KPIs, and activating tests of creative variations. You will regularly present progress and results in performance, paid media, and social media leads as well as translate those results in a way that translates to success in reaching key client business objectives.

It is expected that the candidate work alongside experts in the areas of paid and digital media, earned media, and analytics to build successful, efficient paid social media campaigns.

An additional consideration is given to individuals that can demonstrate an interest or experience in expanding digital buying skillset beyond social media, including programmatic buys across multiple Demand Side Platforms, search, and display campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with paid media and social strategists and other internal staff to develop effective social media campaigns
  • Recommend ad formats that align with best practice and historical performance to ensure paid social media content provides a flawless user experience
  • Execute paid social media campaigns for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and any other emerging social platforms
  • Review all assets to ensure social media ads are aligned with the strategic approach and are accurate to the approved plan
  • Analyze and monitor paid social performance on a daily basis, with weekly check-ins delivered to social leads
  • Manage budgeting and billing efforts for paid social media campaigns, which includes recommending spend levels based on audience size and campaign goal, ensuring proper pacing to efficient reach total campaign spend, working with paid media team on billing and reconciliation, and the like
  • Gather weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual paid metrics across social media campaigns and work with paid, social, and/or analytics team members to compile reporting metrics and recommend optimizations – translating social media performance into actionable client-facing insights
  • Analyze 1st and 3rd party data to create custom audience segments for cross-channel use
  • Work closely with brand teams to provide insights and recommendations that align with, or enhance strategy/business goals.
  • Collaborate with Tech, Data, and Inventory partners to ensure that features, assets, and other elements necessary to successfully utilize their products are properly executed and delivered in a timely fashion

Experience:

  • 2 - 4 years of experience in paid social media, additional digital media experience a plus
  • Experience analyzing social media metrics
  • Experience running paid advertisements on social media from planning to implementation to measuring performance
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced agency environment
  • Thrives when cross collaborating and comfortable working among multiple stakeholders
  • Detailed, analytical mindset
  • Proficient in balancing and adhering to strict budgets

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Advanced knowledge of social media platforms
  • Advanced skills in MS Office – particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • THIS POSITION IS BASED IN MILWAUKEE OR CAN BE REMOTE.
